Goal each by Mandeep Singh and Ramandeep Singh, coupled with amazing saves by goalkeepers Krishan Bahadur Pathak and PR Sreejesh helped World No 5 India stun world champions and World No 1 Belgium 2-1 in the first of their double header of the FIH Pro League at Kalinga Stadium here today.
Opportunistic forward Mandeep, whose goal in the first 15 seconds had given India a 5-1 win in their Pro League debut match against Netherlands here earlier last month, once again put hosts India in the lead with a field goal withing 90 seconds of the hard-fought match against the Red Lions.
